Welcome to the Old Bastards Vintage Motorcycle Club website!

We are riders and enthusiasts of vintage, classic and antique motorcycles, based in historic Bastard Township.  The Club is incorporated as a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting riding, biking and classic and vintage motorcycle related events.

Originally based in a garage in historic Bastard and Burgess Township at Delta, Ontario, Canada, the charity based Old Bastards Vintage Motorcycle Club is all about enthusiasts of vintage, classic, and antique motorcycles.  Our annual rally takes place on the second weekend in September at Lower Beverley Lake Park in Delta.  Events include bike games, dinner and dance, and, of course, the Sunday morning concours!

You don't have to have a bike, only a passion for old motorcycles!  All are welcome to any gathering - we meet on the last Saturday of the month at The Junction Restaurant (Corner Hwy 15 & Hwy 32) for breakfast at 9:30am, or you can attend a breakfast meeting further north on the last Sunday of the month (details on the "Events" page...it changes from month to month) so come on out for a ride!

Thanks to all who attended our 2012 Annual General Meeting!  Elections were held, resulting in the following changes to our Executive and Directors:

President:                  Ernie Olivo
Vice - President:       Mac Reath
Vice - President:       Stuart MacFarlane (Northern)
Treasurer:                 Dave Smith
Secretary:                 Larissa Reise
Northern Liason:      Bill Wilson
Memberships:          Karin Brose
Rally Coordinators:  Susie & Greg Kinghorn
Regalia:                    Howard & Dorothy Dack
Webmaster:              Brian Weir
Directors:                  Paul Burridge
                                 Derrick Reath

Stay tuned to our "Minutes" page for more info about other changes.

A heartfelt THANK-YOU to outgoing President Ralph Thompson (and let's not forget the woman who kept him on track, Fran McLean!) for his hard work and dedication to our club during his tenure.  Looking forward to hearing the tales they'll tell when they return home from their motorcycling adventure up north!

Also, thank you to outgoing Secretary Jen Williams and Regalia Co-ordinator Ron MacNairn for the hard work they put into their positions during their time on the Executive...see you on the road!

MEMBERSHIPS...The Membership Co-ordinator, Karin Brose, is in attendance at most Saturday morning meetings for those of you in the area who are looking to become Old Bastards, or you can join or renew by contacting her at karin@oldbastards.ca

Those of you in the northern catchment area can attend one of their monthly meetings and look for Stu MacFarlane, our Vice-President (Northern).

Memberships for the 2012 year remain at $20, which gets you a small OB crest and insurance coverage at any of our official events.  Members are also entitled to an '@oldbastards.ca' email address and the use of our 'Buy, Sell & Trade' website section is at your disposal (through the webmaster).

For up to the minute information, titillating conversation and cool pics, join us on Facebook!  We've also got a 10th Annual Old Bastards Vintage Motorcycle Rally event page, and welcome you to post your rally stories from years past!

We had a great annual OB CHRISTMAS PARTY at the beautiful home of Susie and Greg Kinghorn.

We also made our annual donations in support of local charities
Here's a lovely thank-you note we received from the Delta Food Bank!

If you didn't make it in 2011, put it on your calendar for 2012...it's an event not to be missed!

The Northern Old Bastards (NOB's) had a great turnout at their rally up north.

Look for photos of the usual suspects, plus some newcomers, under "Rally Photos".  For many years people have been bringing unique, old and new bikes to this plahttp://http://www.oldbastards.ca/1949.htmlce to celebrate our two wheeled addiction. Check out the rally photos for many classic and vintage bikes.

Please take note of our Northern section's (NOB's as we affectionately call them) upcoming events...details posted under 'Events'!

Three OB's - Ralph Thompson in black shirt, Felix in a light moment, and Hugh Henderson.  Hugh looks down smiling, knowing he could easily have beat them both with his Fast Eddy impression.

A collection of Fast Eddies from years gone by...what a good lookin' bunch!  Felix Gaim, Ralph Thompson and Ray Pappin, representing 2007, 2006 and 2008 respectively.
